Small businesses are the mainstay of economic growth. Entrepreneurship courses cover a wide variety of small business interests from beginning the process of starting your business to exploring the tools to maintain and promote your existing business. Training at BCED is designed to assist intending or existing proprietors of small businesses to develop management skills. Courses offer instruction in the "nuts and bolts" of operating a small business in any industry.
Entrepreneurship: From Idea to Successful Business Startup:
This course is designed for entrepreneurs interested in learning the critical components necessary to create a successful business. Topics include recognizing business opportunities, target market research business ownership forms, financing, and business planning and customer service. All materials are included in the course as part of tuition and fees. The course is being offered in conjunction with the Small Business Development Center.
