Health and Wellness Center The goal of the Health & Wellness Center at Baltimore City Community College is to enhance the educational process by the modification or removal of health-related barriers to learning, and by the promotion of an optimal level of wellness.
Staff at the Center include a full-time Registered Nurse and Medical Assistant, and a part-time Physician, who continually endeavor to anticipate and meet the health needs of the college population. Center staff also work to promote positive community relations by inviting community members to participate in many of the on-campus health screenings and other programs and services provided by area health care providers.
Some of the low-cost services provided by the Health & Wellness Center include the following:
Physical examinations (required for some Nursing and Allied Health Programs)
Gynecological examinations
STD screening
TB testing (required for some Nursing and Allied Health Programs)
Immunizations (required for some Nursing and Allied Health Programs)
