Description

In honor of Women’s History month, the English, Humanities, Visual and Performing Arts Department, in partnership with the Professional Development Office, will be hosting a number of workshops dedicated to the development and empowerment of women. Faculty and staff are encouraged to participate in the innovative workshops. However, class size is limited for each session. Therefore, registration is required. In this workshop participants are asked to purchase the most beautiful journal they can afford and bring it to class with two sharpened pencils. Professor Moss will teach participants how to use expressive writing as a means to heal and recover. During this time participants will focus on a scene in their lives and learn techniques to excavate feelings that are stuck. Participants will learn how to get negative feelings that trigger unwanted behaviors onto paper for evaluation and healing. (Limited to 20 participants). The first 10 registrants will receive a complimentary journal from the Professional Development Office.
